Over the past 15 years our Directors Shane Farrimond & Jayson Van Zyl, two very patriotic African citizens, set out to build a community of trust and reliability amongst African businesses owners. The goal was to keep South Africa on the map with quality manufacturing, and at the same time keep it affordable, allowing for local businesses to succeed.

· Being personally involved in each water chiller that has been built has allowed us to grasp what it takes for these mostly privately-owned businesses to be profitable. Understanding these needs has led us in the direction of our designs.

· Offering a simple-to-use, durable Air-cooled chiller, that is inexpensive to maintain, for all process cooling applications has been the success of Thermochill. Building the trust of our clients has been the sustainability of Thermochill.

· We offer customized options for processes that can’t always be found on a standard spec sheet.
· Extremely tough and durable cabinets, using 3CR12 Stainless Steel ranging from 1mm-6mm in thickness, and then a durable layer of grey powder coating.
· We build the Air-cooled chiller using Oversized Wide-Fin condensers which assist with harsh conditions, adding many years to its lifespan and making it easy to maintain during a service.
· Controls and Safeties are designed so that any refrigeration technician can understand and work on them with ease. Having a chiller that is “hard to break” has been the forefront of our designs.
· We used components that are available in most cities throughout Africa, to allow clients to save on delays and cost of shipments. A self-sustaining design is more valuable to us than looking to profit off the sales of spares.
· Ideally, we would want the client to find the design uncomplicated and approachable by any technician, allowing the client to enjoy the ease of self-sustaining and inexpensive upkeep of the chiller.
